Purchasing
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meeting purchasing objectives and budget targets as established by the company
- Sourcing product lines
- Purchasing products – order placement and follow-up
- Vendor agreements
- Inventory management
- Sales support
- Meeting deadline commitments
- Selecting and developing suppliers
- Special assignments and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with vendor management tools and measures
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of J.D. Edwards system
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive Attitude
